Dont&#039; get me wrong, I love Drupal. I just think it was overkill for what I was using it for.

The Drupal spam module caught about 80% of the comment spam I recieved. amd I had to  monitor the site often to clear out the viagra ads. Maybe I could have configured it to work better, but I&#039;m looking for a more out of the box solution. Hopefully, the Akismat filtering will work better.

As for captchas and approval queues, I just don&#039;t like them because they seem like an extra barrier between bloggers and readers (your comment went to a queue by mistake...).
